This is Your Final Warning….

Crying Man CartoonOK…OK, I admit that nothing terminal is going to happen to your computer (or you!) if you don’t upgrade to Windows 10 but one thing’s for sure, if you don’t accept the free upgrade before 29 July 2016, you will have to pay Microsoft at least $US109 for the privilege when you finally realise the world’s leaving you behind!

Of course, if you’re planning on replacing your old clunker laptop/desktop in the very near future (ie this year!), upgrading to Win 10 is a bit of waste of time but for everyone else….

The Waiting is Over – It’s Time to Upgrade!

Confession: I’m a Windows 10 fan! I’ve been using it since September 2015 and I have absolutely no complaints about it. It’s easy to use, easy to navigate, packed with features and 100% better than Windows 8….and it was free! I even like MS Edge, the new browser – how sad is that!! Of course there are a few things which could be improved in Windows 10 but that’s nothing unusual for Microsoft software and certainly not cause to criticise what appears to be the most robustly created Windows Operating System ever. Heck, it even runs well on older ex-Windows 7 machines with 2Gb memory.

What really concerns me though is that the July 29th free upgrade deadline is fast approaching and there are still a lot of members out there who haven’t upgraded for whatever reason. Continue reading

Windows 10 Installation Scam!

For some people, the thought of upgrading to Windows 10 is very enticing and seeing that little white Window down in the Taskbar is very tempting indeed. Scam AlertSadly, there are scammers out there who are praying on people who either feel nervous about doing the upgrade themselves or are just keen to move to Microsoft’s latest Operating System but lack the confidence to get started.
