Newsletter – October 2014

Open Days Success

We enrolled 30 new Members at the two Open Days we held on Thursday 25th and Saturday 27th at the Learning Centre. This brings our membership to over 300. Most of the new Members have also enrolled for the Fourth Term Courses which start on Monday 13th October, along with current members.

Tutors at Courses

At our monthly Tutors meeting on 2nd October, we encouraged the Tutors to come to our Courses to refresh their knowledge. We are well served with 25 Tutors who are enthusiastic about their jobs and the fact that they too are learning with each involvement they have with SeniorNet Kapiti. If you would like to consider becoming a Tutor why don’t you contact Kuini phone (04) 293 6946 and talk about what’s involved.

Age on the Go Expo

Thanks to Brian who managed to set up a stall at this Expo in the Waikanae Hall. A steady stream of people with questions, many taking away information and some eager to join and attend our courses. Thanks again to Brian a great all day effort.
