Courses Update

The Second Term Courses are now underway and are being well supported by our members. There are some places still available on the Introduction to Computers, What can I do on my PC and Demystifying Windows 8 Courses, so if you are interested, contact Theresa on 04  298 3132 to enrol.

However if you wanted to enrol for other Courses this term, but have found that they are full, I suggest that you contact Theresa and ask to have your name put on the list for Third Term Courses, starting 21 July.

Don’t forget the Regular Workshops including  How do I ..?, Q&A, iPad and Android . Come along, you will always learn something new, guaranteed.

And remember that the dates and times for everything we offer are right here under Courses and Workshops in the Menu above.

Subscriptions

Veronica has advised me that there are still a number of members who have yet to renew their subscriptions for this year. Even if you are not taking any Courses this year, by maintaining your membership you will continue to receive news and tips on how to maintain and update your computer knowledge and application.

Annual General Meeting

The AGM is on Wednesday 16 July at the Learning Centre starting at 1.30pm.  We have nominations for all of the positions on the Executive Committee, but nominations can still be received up to the AGM. I am delighted to report that David Salter has agreed to put his name forward for the position of Treasurer.

Our guest speaker at the AGM is Gavin Welsh, Councillor, Kapiti Coast District Council.

Happy computing

Barry
