  Become a Tutor

tutor and learnerWe always need tutors so if you are having doubts as to whether you are keeping up with all the technical advances in the computer world, then take advantage and become a tutor? This has to be the best way of trying to keep up with the latest technology. You will be given all the training and help required while working with a great group of people. Email Lois at or phone 04 2987797. Tutors meet first Thursday of the month 9.30am, do come along you will be most welcome.
We are particularly looking for anyone with Android experience to join the Tutors Team

The Tutors enjoyed a morning tea visit to the home of Peter and Chris Bunkall.on Thursday 30 January. This was another great social occasion and our thanks to Chris and Peter for their excellent hospitality.

Waikanae Members

It is with regret that we have to close the Learning Centre at Waikanae, but we will try to satisfy all our members with the new updated courses now on offer at the Learning Centre at 200 Matai Road, Raumati. (Next to the Arts and Crafts centre).

Membership Renewal

Veronica will be sending you a reminder shortly that your SeniorNet membership needs to be renewed for the 2014/15. For those who renew before the 1st May, 2014, the subscription is only $25, and from 1st May it is $30, the same as for new members [$45 for a couple].

Open Days

We held Open Days at the Learning Centre on Thursday 13th and Saturday 15th of February. There was a steady stream of potential members looking at our facilities and at the courses to suit their level of computer experience. We are delighted to welcome 40 new members.

Just click on the invitation to’ follow’ our site in the right hand column, enter your email address, and you will then receive a message each time a new posting is made here.


We now have a Facebook Page for SeniorNet Kapiti  to keep our members up to date with what’s on, but to gain access to the tracking information we need to have 30 ‘Likes’.
